Open Agiles – Espacio Abierto

Profundamente inspirada por tener la oportunidad de ser parte de esta experiencia de aprendizaje organizacional. Con el formato de Open Space, Agiles Sura crea un espacio para gestionar el conocimiento y compartir aprendizajes, abierto a todos sus empleados. Fué un día en el que las personas pudieron escoger entre una gran oferta de charlas diseñadas y ofrecidas por los mismos empleados con temas desde innovación, comunicación no violenta, teatro del oprimido y facilitación gráfica entre muchos, muchos otros.

Me siento profundamente impactada no solo por la magnitud del evento y el ambiente de apertura y deseos de aprender y enseñar, si no además porque creo que es el ejemplo que he conocido en toda mi carrera como faciltadora gráfica en el que esta herramienta está más apropiada por una organización. Las herramientas de pensamiento visual se utilizaban en todos los espacios, era como sentirme en “mi tribu”.

Después de un día de apoyar este experimento de gestión del conocimiento a través de la documentación gráfica y de un mini taller, yo tenía el reto de rediseñar totalmente el taller de dos días que debía ofrecer internamente a un grupo de la organización. ¿Cómo hacer este taller relevante a estas personas y sus retos? ¿Cómo generar una apropiación mas alta de la herramienta que ya de por si está fuertemente arraigada? ¿Cómo crear un espacio en el que también aquellos que “no son tan buenos” sientan que pueden aprender y no se dejen deslumbrar por las “estrellas” de la facilitación gráfica? Estos eran mis nuevos retos de diseño del taller… un proceso sin duda emergente y altamente satisfactorio. Entender las reales necesidades de mi cliente y juntos buscar lo que más aplica al grupo o contexto es de las cosas que más me motiva de este trabajo.

I am deepely inspired for being part of this experience of organizational learning. With the Open Space modality, Agiles Sura created an space of knowledge management and shared learning open to all its employees. It was a day where the people could choose between a big supply of talks designed and offered by the same employees about diverse topics such as innovation, non-violent communication, theater of the oppressed and graphic facilitation amongst many others.

I feel impacted not only for the magnitude of the event, the opening up environment and desire to learn and teach, but also because I believe is the example I’ve known throughout my career as a graphic facilitator, in which this tool is the most suitable for an organization. The tools for visual thinking were used in all the spaces, I was feeling in “my tribe”.

After one day of supporting this experiment of knowledge management through graphic documentation and a mini-workshop, I had the challenge of completely re-design the workshop of two days that I must offer internally to a group of the organization. How to make this workshop relevant to this persons and their challenges? How to generate a higher belonging of a tool that is strongly rooted? How to create a space in which the “not so good” can feel they will learn and not be dazzled by the graphic facilitacion “stars”? These were my concerns about the design of the workshop… no doubt this was an emergin and highly satisfactory process. To understand the real needs of my client and search together for the most useful for the group or context is one of the things that motivates me the most in my job.
