What are we doing to control Deforestation in Colombia? Along with this question, IDEAM’s Strategy for the Control of Deforestation and Forest Management, and its Forests of Life initiative, offers the answers to promote sustainable production practices aligned with the protection of forests. To communicate this strategy and explain the current context of land use conflict, we tell the story of Belmira. We use the stop-motion technique to capture the essence of the natural environment, the traditions associated with it and show that it is possible to implement new and better practices.
